They are spending a pretty penny in general as BC Place will be a big part of hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics.  Apparently, $65M will then be used for proper soccer conversion.  I have no idea what all that figure includes, though...An important point here is that Seattle is doing quite well in a football stadium and they have no canopy, just ads stretched out over the empty upper deck.
