San Antonio Thunder (NASL) Memorabilia Wanted
Michael Macias on 5 November 2010 in Fun, General, NASL, San Antonio Thunder, StadiumDid you know San Antonio was in American top-flight soccer (Old NASL) during the 1970′s? Some of us who weren’t around to see the Thunder play are relishing at the idea of seeing professional soccer in the Alamo City once again. Luckily for us and in less than 18 months, a new San Antonio team plays its first match in the new NASL.
Do you or someone you know have any San Antonio Thunder merchandise, memorabilia, jerseys, game programs or vintage photography of the team that you would want to donate to the Crocketteers? If so, please email us at [email protected].
We want to collect pieces of San Antonio Pro Soccer history and one day have on display for all to see. Who knows? Maybe this can be on display at a future soccer stadium or local establishment.

Love the history and everything behind it, but that logo has to be one of the silliest I have seen. That Cowboy or whatever looks ridiculous.
That logo is awesome, shame they didn’t last much longer here. Oh well, I’m sure we’ll get to make our own memories and build our own traditions and mascot. Not that I would be opposed to the cowboy guy on this kit.
