Crocketteers head to Corpus as NASL is provisionally sanctioned

The Crocketteers have represented San Antonio to the MLS again, travelling in large numbers to Corpus Christi for the friendly between Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas.

The derby was something that divided the Crocketteers with a number of members supporting one or the other club, Founder Michael Macias being a Houston Dynamo fan, while Vice President Rich Moore is an FC Dallas fan.  President James Hope played peace maker being a fan of both teams.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment’s (SSE) Vice President of Public/Government Affairs Leo Gomez met the Crocketteers and spoke at their tailgate in an attempt to raise support for a SSE ran club. The Scorpions organization was also invited, however were unable to make an appearance with Gordon Hartman required to be in Las Vegas for the important USSF meeting determining NASL sanctioning.
