Johnson to Puebla

EJOk, so by now everyone must of heard – Eddie Johnson to Puebla. Yaawn. Look I liked EJ, but I still hold a grudge over the fact he had a verbal agreement with MLS then at the last minute says something to the effect of “Im 27 years old, I still have alot of soccer in me” or in plain english…MLS is not good enough. Im sorry EJ, MLS was not good enough to take you in and give you a professional contract with the Wizards and sending you to Europe where you were a flop. And not good enough that you decided not to play soccer for what 6 months so you can look at other options.

So now your at Puebla. And I have concerns, are you in shape? 6 months no game time experience, im thinking he is out of shape but I heard he had been training in Branderton, FL to keep in shape. A no transfer fee, most likely not a starter for Puebla seems like a good catch for Puebla for depth and Juan Carlos Osorio (Ex Fire and NY Red Bulls Coach). But will EJ produce?

I dont know, but all I know is if he flops in Puebla, dont come to MLS. Your not the prodigal son that belongs to Freddy Adu. I hear the A-League and Chinese Leagues love guys who have speed and kick the ball straight.
