State of the San Antonio Scorpions Luncheon Details

WHO: Gordon Hartman, founder of Soccer for a Cause; Michael Hitchcock, San Antonio Scorpions FC president; Head Coach Tim Hankinson; Scorpions midfielder Kevin Harmse; and invited guests from the news media and soccer community.

WHAT: State of the San Antonio Scorpions, a comprehensive look at the creation of San Antonio’s new pro soccer team in preparation for the first home game April 15, 2012, in North American Soccer League (NASL) competition. Topics will include new player signings, training camp, new team sponsors and unveiling of plans for Scorpions Community Stadium, including the construction timeline and detailed visuals.

WHEN: 12 noon-1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012.
