I had a good time.  Hands was right there were about 40-50 people there.  One of the refs was San Antonio native and MLS referee Jason Ano.  It was at times physical.  Playing for the Alamo Warriors was former MLS player Lance Key.  Also Robin Martinez, one of my former players, from the Austin Aztex was suited up for Alamo Warriors.

I like San Antonio Pumas and AC Defenders... AC stands for Alamo City.  I'm a little biased on San Antonio Pumas since I came up with the original name when I was the Director of Operations for the team for the first 4 years.

I expect the Crocketteers will be in full force for this opening game.

Sunday afternoon games.  Why not count me in.

I too feel the Cibolo location can work.  The possibility of having a stadium with soccer fields around it similar to the Frisco product could from the get go make a franchise profitable.  The ability to bring in other funding to your organization is very important.  Now the city of Cibolo needs to get its act together and build out that stadium right.  Had they listened to Dr. Soccer and me that stadium right now would be primed for a franchise right now.

Does having the MLS teams come to the Texas pro soccer count as MLS in San Antonio?  If so I pick day  144.

I thought the Dynamo goal should have counted.  Dynamo had opportunities to win the game but did not take advantage.  LA got the goal or goals they needed.  That's why they play the games.

Part of the problem is Title IX.  This states equal funding for women's sports.  With the big 12 spending so much on men's football a lot of scholarship money goes to women's soccer.  Good for women's soccer but prevents the development of the men's soccer program
