And he expects revenues to triple next season when the Scorpions move into the soccer-specific stadium being built across the street from their current home at Heroes Stadium in the Longhorn Quarry. The privately funded facility had been slated to hold 6,100 in its initial phase. It will now seat between 8,500 and 9,000 with the capability of expanding capacity up to 18,000, depending on demand. Does this mean that the stadium is going to be at phase II by next season? Anyone have any insight or thoughts? No update on the scorpions website so far. |
