This topic is for information about our Over-30 team. For the Fall 2011 season, the team is called "Crocketteers Classic".

The Classic team lost its opening match 1-0 to Corporation-3.
It was a hard fought 90 minutes in 90+ degree heat. We were unlucky to have 1 goal called back due to mystery foul called against us, and another scoring opportunity whistled dead on a phantom offside call.
We have some things to work on, but overall, it was a very good first match for us.

When do you guys practice (if you do)? Might look to come out and "try" to get into shape so maybe in a season I can get on the pitch?

Right now practices are @ 7pm at the McAllister Park Bee fields, Tuesday nights ...
Yeah, tough go on the first match but easily could have gone our way. Given our lack of playing together and their obvious familiarity with each other it was a very encouraging result.

Playing in 109+ degree heat, the Classic team lost 6-1 to a very good Storm team.
Big thanks go to James Hope, who brought 2 coolers full of bottled water. We may not have done very well on the field, but at least we were hydrated.

11:00 a.m. Chupacabras vs Crocketteers Classic STAR Soccer Complex Field No. 8. Our Classic team is coming of a great win last week. Can we keep the streak alive?

Crocketteers Classic lost this morning to the Chupacabras 1-0. The Classic played a great game and most likely should have one this contest by 5-0. The game though may be in question as the Chupacabras did not have a full squad to start the game, they only had 7, but recruited other players to join them from other teams to round out their squad.
